*Red Raven*

Greetings, Delta Squad.

Welcome to mission Red Raven.

Since this is out first official mission, and since the Squad is still young, we will make this an easy one.
I am mostly concerned on how the group holds out together, how it manages communications, and how smooth things run.
The level of dificulty of these missions will grow bigger and bigger as the Squad proves it's worth.
For future reference, please check the Clan's command signs, started by Pvt. Carter (in progress). These are being created and adapted in order to serve the Task Force on the field, and must be well known to all members of the Squad.

Mission details:

Our objective is to head out to Raventown, in the SW, and make a loot run there. After this loot run is completed, we are to make an outpost at the public restroom in the lower block of Raventown.
We will go South from the Outpost and at the end of it, turn East until we reach the SW block of Raventown. We will then loot the area in a clockwise manner, until we reach the public restroom block and camp there.

When this is achieved, we will either:
1 - Head east towards Stalemill, a deeper red zone and loot there.
2 - Head back to Outpost in case the mission acessment isn't a positive one.

In case all goes well, we will loot in Stalemill until I give the call to retreat. We will then either head back to the outpost or, as a plan B, go to the nearest restroom in a lighter red zone (SW square of Cooperston, just north of Shereham).

What I want to see in this mission:
1- Following of our rules of engagement and guidelines.
2- Following of the plan.
3- Being cool at al times, not loosing temper.
3- Having fun.
4- Keeping a keen eye for team members on the field. We all go in, we all come out.

This one is essencial. A mission where we lose someone is a lost mission in my book. I take this very seriously - and take full responsability for every Squad member's actions.

Just a few final notes to all squad members.
No writting of phrases in capital letters, period. I do not accept it, unless it's a mistake (caps lock usage).
No wasting of ammo. Ammo is supposed to go on zombie heads, not building faccades, ok?
In this mission - no raising of aggro whatsoever. If needed to defend ourselves, ok. Otherwise, no.
No heroics. There is no place for independent action heroes in this squad. You are all heroes in my book, and must be so to accomplish our missions, and survive... well, me.

I would like for everyone who wants to participate in this event to write on this thread and this thread only (suggestions, doubts, etc).
When would be the best time for you to have this mission? If no one says anything, I'm aiming for 8pm, game time (thursday).

Pvt. Carter, since you aren't too slow on your feet, you are in charge of checking the location of every building in the lootable areas (if there are 5 or 6 elements in the mission group, I will accompany you).
As soon as you enter a new mission area, you are to quickly acess where is the next building and report to us. (and state it's relative position to us "U", "D", "L", "R", up, down left right - in order not to mistake it with the directions of the team.)
Of major importance, the exact location of the public restroom.
These orders do not hold if there is aggro happening.
We will see how this works...

EDIT: I want building location reports on each and every area we enter, even if right in front of our nose. Consider it a drill if you'd like.

Very nice introduction, Sergeant. Straight to the point, I like that.
I just might drop in if there aren't a suitable amount of people. I do well under pressure, and I feel like taking part in an actual coordinated, planned task would increase my level of awareness and skills.

EDIT: Unless ppl want to play at very very odd times, I'm postponing this mission to Sunday 8:PM, game time, that is 00:00 forum time, and XX:00 whatever time in your zone. I can't really make it in the evening either friday nor saturday. Might be around during those days at odd hours though.
In order to make this mission a go, I need at least 1 Delta Squad member present. If not, it becomes redundant... most of our TF115 members have no dificulty going to these zones, and I have no real point in training them in how to behave in a squad - they know how to ;D

Sorry for not being online - I'm wakin' up about 5 am my time, and think it's 0.00 game time. Else - I have a deadlines on my job. I'll try to make it sunday, but it's also pice of cake for me (this run), so I think unless we get some more squad members, or virgill will come it'll be just walkin' a park, still - nice to get through with each other in a squad

Yeah, we can just burn some steps altogether and simply go to the helicopter.
I think that Virgill is going to get transfered, since his logging times are pretty diferent from ours and he can't stay up so late so...

Considering I've never been this far into enemy territory, I feel I should come along for the experience, I'll be waiting for the details.

Plus I can see Delta(and others in 115) in action which no doubt will be fantastic, I just hope my skills are up to the task.

Allright. Now that we got a definite date, I'm sure I should be able to attend, university semester scheduling permitting.

I need to call someone to see when classes start, but I doubt anyone's there to call right now.

There might not be room, but I'd love to attend also.
